The two-act musical drama tells President Lincoln’s Indiana boyhood story through theatre, song, and spectacle. As President Lincoln narrates the story, audiences will see these stories come alive as Lincoln reads by candlelight, falls in love for the first time, suffers the great losses of his mother and sister, and takes flat boat trip to New Orleans, where he experiences his first slave auction. A. Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale will educate and entertain audiences through Lincoln’s journey as an Indiana pioneer and became president of the United States.
