Olivia Morris was crowned the Spencer County Fair Queen and Abby Hervey was crowned the Miss Teen Spencer county Sunday night at a scholarship pageant held at Heritage Hills High School.

The queen and miss teen will reign over the Spencer County fair which starts this Wednesday.

The 2015 Spencer County fair queen, Olivia Morris is the 19 year old daughter of Tom and Valerie Lange and Chip and Brenda Morris. She resides in Santa Claus and is a sophomore at the University of Evansville.

The 2015 miss teen, Abby Hervey is the 16 year old daughter of Stephanie and Jared Sattler, Tim and Angie hill, and James Hervey. She resides in Mariah Hill and is a junior at Heritage Hills High School.

Abby Hervey’s escort, Ryhlynn Seneff was selected at the best escort of the evening.

The first runner up Miss Spencer County was Sara Hagedorn of Lamar and second runner up Miss Spencer County was Shelby Krutz of Evanston.

The first runner Miss Teen Spencer county was Haley Begle of Fulda and second runner up Miss Teen was Tapanga Gerlach of troy.

Haley Begle was also the winner of the Holiday World Splashin’ Safari Spirit Award Winner.

Miss Photogenic was Mariah Burdin of Gentryville and Tiffany Gish of Rockport was awarded Miss Congeniality, Mental Attitude, and Best Interview.

WHEN: 6:30 p.m. every Monday

Everybody’s in Tell City and Perry County Wellness sponsor Zumba classes at the Schergens Center at 6:30 p.m. every Monday. There is a fee of $3 per class or $12 for five sessions. Perry County students are admitted to classes for free. Those attending are asked to wear athletic shoes, bring a towel and water, and to arrive a few minutes early to sign in. Elementary children attending must be accompanied by an adult.

St. Meinrad Rocks Fast

WHERE: Ferdinand Community Center

Ferdinand Firemen’s Ball is a great way to spend the evening with the firefighters and auxiliary and see how your donations have helped to better equip your Ferdinand Volunteer Fire Department. The event is hosted at the Ferdinand Community Center and activities of the evening include a variety of children’s games, a catered meal, live entertainment, and a beer garden.
