Pacific Records is proud to announce the release of O-TOWN’s heartfelt new track, “Hello World”, featuring former NFL player and ABC’s “The Bachelor” star Colton Underwood!
“Hello World” is a product of Colton Underwood and O-TOWN member Jacob Underwood’s friendship. Shortly after Colton approached Jacob about writing a song to help raise money and awareness for his charity, The Legacy Foundation, Jacob penned “Hello World”. Then, O-TOWN and Colton recorded the song together in San Diego.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of “Hello World” will be donated to the Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation. The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation is a non-profit organization that was created by Colton Underwood to empower people with cystic fibrosis to live fully, dream big and support each other. The Foundation raises funds for research and provides equipment and resources for people of all ages living with cystic fibrosis.
Colton is recognized as a professional athlete and television star, but can now add “singer” to his resume, as “Hello World” is Colton Underwood’s very first musical contribution!
Colton Underwood says, “Very excited to be releasing ‘Hello World’ and grateful to O-TOWN for partnering up! They are so great to be using this song to help raise funds for the Legacy Foundation and I know it’s going to be big! It’s a fun song to listen to, but most importantly, an anthem for anyone to live your best life. It’s not only for the CF [Cystic Fibrosis] warriors, but for anyone out there dealing with anything in life.”
O-TOWN’s Jacob Underwood adds, “There’s nothing more rewarding than the opportunity to use our God-given gifts to help people in need. This song is very special to me, and I hope that it becomes an anthem not only for the kids effected by Cystic Fibrosis, but anyone who has chosen to live their best life in the face of pain and heartache. I’m incredibly honored that Colton asked me to write this song and I hope you can feel the love behind the lyrics.”
“Hello World” originally premiered via Entertainment Tonight alongside an exclusive interview. Read here.
Best known for their appearance on ABC and MTV’s Making the Band in 2000, O-TOWN’s very first single, “Liquid Dreams” reached #1 on the Billboard single charts, followed by their second #1 with “All Or Nothing” in 2001. The track was featured on the band’s debut self-titled album, which was certified as platinum in both the U.S. and Canada.
O-TOWN is now preparing to release their fourth studio album with Pacific Records, which will be split into two EPs, as they continue to perform with a series of tour dates that include select stops on the “Pop 2000” tour.
