Check out the brand new cover of the radio hit, “Bad Guy”!
The Interrupters share a cover of Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” filmed live at Ship Rec Studios. “We were covering Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy’ while on tour all summer,” explains vocalist Aimee Interrupter. “When we had the chance to do this session at Ship-Rec Studios in Los Angeles we thought it would be the perfect song because it’s so fun to play live! We are big fans of Billie and Finneas’s songwriting… What a breath of fresh air for music! Here it is captured live in one take, we hope we did it justice.”
The past two years have been pivotal for The Interrupters. Their latest album, Fight the Good Fight (2018) debuted on the Billboard charts on first week release as #1 Heatseekers, #2 Independent Record Label Album, #5 Current Rock, and #5 Current Alternative Album. The lead single, “She’s Kerosene” charted #5 at Alternative Radio in US, #1 Alternative in Canada, and #1 Rock in Canada. As highlighted by Billboard, The Interrupters are the first female-fronted band with an Alternative Radio hit since No Doubt. The follow-up single, “Gave You Everything” has charted #19 at Alternative Radio in US, and #2 Rock in Canada.
In addition, the band made their US TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and were featured as iHeartRadio’s On The Verge Artist (Fall 2018). Not to mention, an onslaught of successful touring worldwide including many sold out headlining dates as well as appearances at Coachella, the final Warped Tour (main stage), ALT 98.7’s SummerCamp, Aftershock Festival, and support runs with 311 & The Dirty Heads, and Rancid.
The band shows no signs of slowing down and have recently announced tour dates well into next year. Next month, The Interrupters will hit the road for a headlining run in North America. The band will kick off 2020 in the UK with a headline run and spend the summer on the epic Hella Mega stadium tour opening up for Weezer, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day. Tickets are on sale now.
