THE WRECKING CREW is the latest recording from THE TEARAWAYS featuring Clem Burke from Blondie on drums.
Co-written by the band with famous DJ Rodney Bingenheimer, “The Wrecking Crew” pays homage to the Session Musicians who recorded the greatest pop and rock songs of yesteryear. It has already garnered significant airplay on Sirius XM and on terrestrial radio in Japan. It is now ready to be unveiled to the world. It is a fun, playful, respectful throwback to the days of Phil Spector and Brian Wilson. Ron Dante, who is famous for his work with Cher, The Archies, The Turtles, The Cufflinks, Pat Benatar, Barry Manilow, & many others, produced THE WRECKING CREW.
The Tearaways have been a Southern California staple since their humble beginnings in Santa Barbara in the early ’80s. Now fueled by the drumming of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Clem Burke from Blondie, the Tearaways mix their brand of three-part harmony with hook-filled melodies to create a sound that combines the best of Southern California Rock with British Invasion. They’ve toured all over the world and are a staple in England and the UK; having performed there for fourteen years running. Currently touring behind their latest release “Anthems and Lullabies” (their fifth in four years), The Tearaways were recently featured on the Hollywood Christmas Parade for the CW performing their charting single “Stuff Your Stocking”. Friends of the band include everyone from the Beach Boys to Sugar Ray to the Archies so you never know who will turn up on stage with them. The Tearaways are John Finseth, Greg Brallier, John Ferriter, Davie Hekhouse and Clem Burke.
Easily one of the finest bands around in the last 15 years . We are lucky that they are based here in Southern California. 👍🎼🎸🎤
