Elliphant is back with new single “To The End” Which Was Featured in ‘Spider-Man – Into The Spider-Verse’
Popular music has long been a sanctuary for odd birds. But even by those standards, Ellinor Olovsdotter, the unforgettable voice behind such singles as ‘Down on Life‘ and ‘Love Me Badder‘, is a rare species. Past collaborations with electronic dance stars including Skrillex, Diplo and DJ Snake, the Swedish artists rarity is strengthened by a focus on keeping true to her own rhythm. Elliphant has been compared to MIA, toured the world with Charli XCX and Major Lazer, and counts everyone from Diplo to Skrillex to TV On the Radio’s Dave Sitek as a collaborator and creative co-conspirator.
With three previous album releases and a number of features during 2018, including a feature on Tove Lo’s ‘Bitches’ together with Icona Pop and ALMA, it is finally time for Elliphant to release her new single ‘To The End’. A grand synth-pop song heavily influenced by rock where Elliphant mixes genres and seamlessly makes them her own. The song is featured in the critically acclaimed box-office movie ‘Spider-Man – Into The Spider-Verse’ where it introduces the new bad-ass character ‘Spider-Gwen’. The movie had its premiere at the end of December and recently won a Golden Globe for ‘Best Motion Picture – Animated’ as well as being nominated for an Oscar for ‘Best Animated Feature’
During 2019 we can expect even more fresh girl-power music from Elliphant and ‘To The End’ gives a taste of what is yet to come.
